RASBE is the primary voice for elite, small, minority, and women-owned businesses that work to promote and protect the interests of the nation’s largest source of employment for Americans - small business.
Our mission is to unite small business enterprises in the DMV and form a strong political coalition that serves to protect the interests of our local business leaders and economies.
About Us
SMALL BUSINESS
Small businesses are the driving force of the American economy. An overwhelming 99.9% of all US companies are small businesses with fewer than 500 employees. That’s 7.4 million American workers or 48% of all US employees. Unfortunately, policymakers enact laws that rarely serve the interests of small businesses. RASBE was organized to correct that imbalance.
To effectively protect their own interests, small businesses must stand together. RASBE works to galvanize small business owners throughout the DMV so that we can leverage our collective power to strengthen and support small businesses and the millions of people that work for them, thereby creating stronger and safer communities.
